I am currently experimenting with all the step cards. They sure look cute and definitely a lot of fun; giving you layers to decorate. I used the side step card, you can pick this file up at Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbon here http://www.prettypapergraphics.com/item_245/Side-Step-Card-Cutting-Files.htm, with a fat puppy from the silhouette store along with a heart, paw prints and bone cut out from Miss Kate Cuttables. For the cute twine buttons, I took a 3D glue dot, made a knot in the end of the twine, stuck it in the center and wrapped around to cover the dot. I can't take credit for this technique as I picked it up from the design team at Trendy Twine during their blog hop this week. Thanks girls for sharing.

Chocolate Cake Birthday Cards
These cards are dedicated to my daughter who thinks that chocolate is one of the four food groups. She likes chocolate with everything. Once even asking for chocolate chips in her omelet. She is only seven years old but I think this is an addiction that will stick with her.
I couldn't resist this 3-Tiered Chocolate Birthday Cake from Miss Kate Cuttables and immediately cut out a bunch in different sizes. I used one on a treat bag for a girlfriend the then made these two cards. For the candles, I used a white gel pen. I mounted the cake with foam squares for dimension and added a little faux stitching with a black pen. The banners are from Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbon and I found a nice font from free fonts (great site to get fonts) and then used my silhouette to print and cut. The cards make me crave chocolate.
I am entering this in the Silhouette Challenge CH#3 Faux Stitching http://www.silhouettechallenges.com/
I added a few more embellishments to the first
card to make it pop. Looks good enough to eat!

Birthday Treat Bag
I made this project for a friend/coworker who just loves peppermint patties. I used the K-Cup Treat Cutting Files http://www.prettypapergraphics.com/item_262/K-Cup-Treat-Cutting-Files.htm at Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbon. I just chose not to cut the center cup holder. Instead I added a clear bag with peppermint patties. I added the 3-Tiered Birthday Cake from Miss Kate Cuttables http://www.misskatecuttables.com/products/50-store/freebie-of-the-day-3-tiered-birthday-cake.php. Some paper laying around by scrap bin, foam squares and a few doodles later and this is what I have.
